Make Him Interested in You

First dates are often the most crucial of all dates. This is your chance to make a great impression so you leave the guy wanting for more. One wrong step and this will be just another frustrating night that leaves you thinking about what could have been. You start reading on books that gives you tips on how to make men want you, but the truth is, some of the things you read about are just totally untrue. The old tradition won’t help you now. You might think that being unavailable makes you more desirable. This isn’t how you should think. Yes, guys enjoy the chase, but they also need to know that this could actually lead somewhere. You do have a life outside the date, but you should avoid sounding too high maintenance.

Get of your high horse because looking busy isn’t something that looks necessarily attractive. What could be a date might look like an inconvenience for you, and that’s what your man wouldn’t want to know. Men really want to know that they wear the pants in the relationship. You can help him become more confident by also playing the good sport. If you see as if you’re up to more adventures, he will also try his best to entertain you when you’re together. This makes the date more memorable. All you need to know is how to make it seem as if all his efforts have also paid off.

When you’re on a date, be there. Don’t be busy catching up with your friends on the phone. If you bump into someone, introduce your date and make the meeting as brief as possible. Sure, you have a lot going for you right now, and you have just as many friends who adore you. But spreading yourself thin is an unattractive trait. You’ll only look disrespectful if you keep your date at bay. While you’re with him, take time to know what he likes, talk about things you both can relate to, and make the mood light. If you really need to call someone, excuse yourself for a minute, go to the bathroom, and send them an update from there. Don’t take too long, however, and tell them that you’ll give them a blow-by-blow account after.

Guys always want to feel that you’re just as curious about them as they are with you. Asking questions is a good strategy, but don’t make them too personal. Ask him about his hobbies and passion, and then see if you can also share your thoughts about the things he finds important. Always avoid talking about religion and politics because this is when things can get heated, especially when your opinions differ. Stirring up controversy won’t make you stand out. In fact, you’ll only end up seeming too argumentative. Right now, you need to know where you’re alike. Find some common ground or simply bring up a subject that you think he’ll be interested in learning. When your man feels important, he is more likely to call you for that second date.
